By Air
Ukraine International Airlines operate frequent domestic flights linking Kiev with Lvov and Simferopol.
By Train
Ukraine has a comprehensive rail network (map in Ukrainian) and trains connect all the main cities and most towns, including Kiev, Odessa, Lvov, Sebastopol, Simferopol and Kharkiv.
Reservations are fully computerised, and you can book train tickets up to 45 days in advance for any journey within, or originating within, Ukraine at any Ukrainian railway station. Alternatively, to avoid the queues and any language hassles, you can book rail tickets through travel agencies, for example those located in the lobbies of certain major hotels. Prices are very reasonable even after recent increases.

By Bus
Intercity buses link major cities in Ukraine, especially to and from Kiev. Today there are quite a few private bus companies operating modern comfortable vehicles, with reclining seats, tinted windows, air conditioning and T.V. The State-owned buses have a significantly lower comfort level and are cheaper.
